Who:
Membership is open to 100 people who are the descendants of enslaved Africans in America. **Non black partners can sponsor a seat, donate, attend but cannot vote** How much: Membership is $400 per year, which can be billed once annually or quarterly at $100 each quarter. **Membership fee must be paid prior to event day to be able to vote** When: Art Q1 Dance Q2 Theater Q3 Music Q4 Quarterly January, March, June, September - Last Friday 6-8pm Where: Check website and social media for updates |
Who can be a presenter?Anyone with a vision, idea, or program that will directly impact and benefit the black community in Tacoma. Non Profits Business Owners Artists Community Members Community Leaders Visionaries Connect with a TBF member to be invited to present at the next TBF quarterly event. 1. First come, first to present! Sign up by 6:30 pm . At most, five presenters per event. 2. Prepare a 3-5 minute presentation to share your clear, concrete program or idea. 3. You don't have to be black to present; clearly exhibit how your program benefits and impacts black Tacomans. |
